Quite a few times now I have had people noting me and/or commenting on my profile for a club submission and I just feel like I need to say something about it.

Most of the time this is done purely by accident. When I look something up on the search or I see something on the front page of dA, I just see what the piece of art looks like and what category it is in, unless I take the time to hover over each one instead (which is generally not the case - I tend to collect lots of pieces I like and then look at them later on when I have time to do so properly), I have no way of knowing it belongs to a club and that it's not the original.

Of course, I am more than happy to be made aware if I have added a club submission and to then add the original instead, but this is just so that people know I don't do it intentionally or anything.

You have my apology if I have done this before now (which I know I have) and in advance, as I know it'll probably happen again at some point in the future .
